From one pool
to a way of living
In 2019, founders Mara and Dev Okafor took over a faded 1970s lido on the marina — cracked tiles, a leaking roof, and the best light they had ever seen on water. They spent two years rebuilding it slowly: five pools instead of one, shade where the afternoon sun lands, and a rule that nothing inside the gates should ever feel rushed.
Today Pool Club is home to 1,200 members — dawn lap swimmers, weekend families, remote workers who take calls from cabanas. Different rhythms, one water.
